Thousands of runners are set to take part in the annual Southampton Marathon on Sunday.
The 26.2‑mile (42km) race will set off from a new start line at Dock Gate 8, City Cruise Terminal, before finishing in Guildhall Square.
Alongside the full marathon there are three other distances to run – a half marathon, 10K and 5K.
The marathon route takes in city landmarks including the Bargate, The Common and Itchen Bridge.
Extensive temporary road closures will be in place across large parts of the city centre.
These include the docks Town Quay area, Bitterne, Portswood, Woolston with residents and spectators urged to plan journeys in advance.
Before the 10,000 runners start their races at 09:00 GMT, Supermarine Spitfire RR232 is expected to put on a display near the start line at about 08:30.
