Stade Brestois sporting director Grégory Lorenzi has reached an agreement to join OGC Nice at the end of the season, according to a report from Foot Mercato. He had been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
After 10 years at the club, Lorenzi is all set to leave Brest at the end of the season. Ouest-France reported earlier this week that Nottingham Forest had sounded out a move for the Frenchman. Foot Mercato added that there had also been some talks with Crystal Palace. However, it seems that he will not be leaving France.

Instead, he will join Nice, Foot Mercato understands. An agreement between the sporting director and Le Gym, still threatened by relegation, has been reached. Nice must still secure their place in France’s top-flight (five points ahead of AJ Auxerre, who occupy the relegation play-off spot with three games remaining) for next season and also arrange the departure of their current sporting director, Florian Maurice.
