Arsenal are being linked with a move for Brazilian sensation Endrick and if Carlo Ancelotti’s words are anything to go by, Gunners fans should be excited.

Mundo Deportivo has claimed Arsenal are looking at Endrick, who is currently on loan with Lyon from Real Madrid.

It’s claimed that while Madrid have no intention of selling their star Brazilian, Arsenal are interested in Endrick and have made their feelings known.

Of course, Endrick would be a signing who’d excite Arsenal fans. And according to Brazil’s national coach Carlo Ancelotti, the young forward really is the real deal.

We’ve seen so many young Brazilian players arrive in Europe over the years. Some have been huge successes like Vinicius Jr and Ronaldinho, while others, such as the likes of Denilson and Fabio Rochemback, have not quite done it.

If Endrick isn’t the most exciting signing Arsenal can make this summer, then tell us who is?

Endrick, though, appears to be the full package.

And according to Ancelotti, he’s very much got everything needed to be a top striker.

“He is spectacular,” Ancelotti said in a previous press conference.

“He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he’s quick and he still has a lot to improve with the ball.

“But, wow, his dribbling, his runs…the shot he has, he could even score a second goal easily with that great strike off the post. He is just spectacular. Very young, but a very fast learner.”

Clearly, any deal for Endrick is going to be extremely difficult to do.

But even if Arsenal could somehow convince Madrid to do a loan deal, the excitement around his arrival in North London would be massive.

Endrick has already scored seven times for Lyon and is expected to go to the World Cup this summer.

A good tournament there could decide his future. If he stars, then Madrid will simply keep him. If he flops, then they might just consider options.
