Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani has been on loan at Valencia since last summer.

The winger didn’t start well for the La Liga side, partly due to an injury that saw him spend 52 days between October and December on the sidelines.

After regaining full fitness, the Leeds United man didn’t make it to the starting XI straight away.

Valencia manager Carlos Corberán initially continued to use him as a substitute before utilising him as starter over the past two months.

The 25-year-old scored the winner in Los Ches’ 3-2 win over Espanyol in January and has impressed since then. To put it in context, he has scored six goals in the last 12 league matches.

His La Liga stats are as follows:

Appearances: 22
Starts: 10
Total minutes: 1,074
Minutes per game: 49
Goals: 6
Assists: 1
Expected Goals: 6.37
Expected Assists: 1.91

At the weekend, he scored in his side’s 2-1 league win over Girona. After the match, the Belgian talked about his ambition but refuses to discuss future after this season.

Valencia want to retain Leeds United man

El Desmarque have relayed Largie Ramazani’s latest comments and also provide their own updates on this case.

When asked whether he wants to continue at the Mestalla after this season, he said: “We’ll do the analysis at the end of the season, and I’m going to continue as I have been. I’m ambitious and I’m going to work until the end of the season.”

The Whites let him go out on loan without a purchase clause and therefore, the Spanish club have to agree fresh terms with Daniel Farke’s side in the summer.

Los Ches, for their part, have already held talks with the Leeds United owned player to find out his plans for the future. They have also expressed desire to open negotiations with the Premier League side and are waiting until summer to make further advances.

Last month, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Valencia are highly unlikely to sign him permanently after this season.

El Desmarque state it’s unclear whether Leeds United are willing to send him out on loan again, indicating Valencia are looking at a fresh loan move.

The Elland Road club have no need to sell. Therefore, Valencia would have to find out both Leeds United and Ramazani’s plans for the future before moving forward.

Contract, value and agent info

As things stand, Largie Ramazan will return to Leeds United after this season where he has a contract until 2028.

Transfermarkt now value him at €8m, €2m less than his highest in September 2022. Agent Ramazani Mwanuke is taking care of his interest and future.
