The penultimate episode of The Stacey West’s League One Show is here, as we discuss the main talking points from a fantastic week of football.
Firstly, Charlie and Kyle start away from the third tier, discussing the teams currently in the Championship and League Two that will be playing League One football next term. That includes Leicester City, who will face promoted Bromley in the upcoming 26/27 campaign. There are also discussions surrounding Oxford United and Milton Keynes Dons, looking ahead to what could be in store next year.
Then it’s on to the play-off race. Five clubs are in contention for the final three spots, with Stockport County, Bradford City and Stevenage in pole position. Any slip-ups for those sides and Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle will be waiting in the wings. We talk through each side’s chances of playing in the end-of-season competition.
Finally, the last relegation place is still to be filled. Leyton Orient or Exeter City will likely be playing in League Two next season, although there is a small chance that Peterborough United will drop into the fourth tier. We talk about why it won’t be Posh, and which of the above-mentioned duo will suffer the heartbreak of relegation next Saturday.
All that, plus one of the best endings to a season in history, can be found in Sunday’s upload, which is available now!
