Manchester United have been handed a potential double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford. United host the Bees on Monday night as they look to take a step closer to securing Champions League football.
Michael Carrick’s side sit in third place in the table. They are on the same points as both Liverpool and Aston Villa in fourth and fifth position, but have a game in hand over both sides.
United came out as 1-0 winners over Chelsea last weekend and will look to build on that win when they host Brentford. Ahead of the game, they will have at least one central defensive option returning, with Harry Maguire back from suspension.

The end-of-season run-in means that any absences through injury or suspension could be crucial for teams. With that in mind, here’s a look at what the squad availability looks like for both sides ahead of Monday night’s game…
Man United
Leny Yoro missed the win against Chelsea after suffering a knock in training before the game. Carrick has confirmed that the defender remains a doubt for the clash vs Brentford.
“We’re still working on [Leny],” he said. “So, there’s a possibility, there’s a possibility, but at this stage, it’s not 100 per cent sure.”
Full-back Patrick Dorgu will not be available for the match, but is getting closer to returning to training. “Patrick’s working his way to being back,” Carrick said.
“He’s certainly making good progress and back closer to training with us, which is positive, so that’s good news.”

Defender Matthijs de Ligt is back on the grass as he continues his recovery from a back injury. But it has been confirmed that he will be unavailable for the game.
United will also be without defender Lisandro Martinez, who is suspended following his red card against Leeds United earlier this month. The good news is that Maguire is back from suspension and will be available for the match.
Brentford
Brentford have a few injury worries ahead of the game. Manager Keith Andrews has confirmed that Jordan Henderson, Rico Henry and Vitaly Janelt will all be unavailable, despite being back out on the grass as they continue their recovery.
“They’re doing well. I’ve just walked past all three of them, they’ve been doing a session separate from the group,” he said.
“They’re back on the grass and making good progress. They’ve all got slightly different timeframes as to when they’ll be back, but they won’t be available for Monday.”
Midfielder Josh Dasilva and Kaye Furo will also miss the game. Long-term absentees Fabio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo will also be on the sidelines.
