A man wanted on suspicion of grievous bodily harm was seen near where the victim had previously received a broken jaw.

Officers a searched of a wooded area before a 34-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was taken into custody.

Following PC Harvey Trehane and PC Dom Hyland and Winton Police Station, Dorset Police’s live feed of the pair’s shift saw them attend to a number of incidents on Saturday evening, April 25.

To begin their shift, PC Harvey and PC Hyland responded to an immediate call for assistance from a woman whose partner was refusing to leave the property following an argument.

Following that incident, officers responded to reports of a woman concerned for her welfare in a domestic incident. After attending to a property, the woman was spoken to independently and confirmed she no longer had any concerns.

In another incident, officers also were called to search for man who was reported to be acting suspiciously and also to a third-party disturbance and attended to an address of a vulnerable person.

Later in their shift, the officers received a call from South Western Ambulance Service of a possible assault in Kinson before attending to establish the circumstances.

After speaking to everyone involved, the officers were content there were no criminal offences in relation to the incident.
