Our young Gunners suffered a narrow defeat to West Ham United on Saturday morning in a dramatic contest.
Bowen Phillips fired us into an early lead, but the visitors responded quickly to level things. We regained the advantage through Saurap Sampang, who finished off a superb team move, only for the Hammers to equalise once again.
The away side then edged in front, and it looked like we had rescued a point when Louis Zecevic John calmly converted from the penalty spot. However, there was late heartbreak for our young Gunners, as West Ham United were awarded a penalty in the closing stages and made no mistake to snatch all three points.
