Manchester United face Liverpool next week in a game which could ensure a return to the Champions League.
The defending Premier League champions spent more than anyone last summer, only to regress and are on track to finish behind Manchester United.
Liverpool are no stranger to finishing behind United, but considering where both clubs were last summer, few would have predicted the Red Devils to finish above them.
But next weekend, if United can complete the double over Liverpool, it would all but guarantee finishing above the bitter rivals. It would also see United guarantee Champions League football.

Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford next weekend, looking for revenge after years of hurt against the rivals at home.
Earlier this season, United beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. But winning at Old Trafford would be measurably more important, and now it has emerged that United will face a Liverpool without Mohamed Salah.
This is because against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Salah left the pitch early with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
The Egyptian winger gestured to his hamstring and favoured it while talking to teammates.
With just seven days until United take on Liverpool, it would be a tall order for Salah to get himself fit enough to play.
Therefore, United might have been denied a chance to ruin Salah’s farewell and final appearance at Old Trafford, where he has annoyingly been so impressive this season.
How confident are you that Manchester United will win vs Brentford?

While seeing a player injured is never good, United won’t mind not having to take on Salah.
But he isn’t the only player missing for the Scousers.
Liverpool are also without Hugo Ekitike, who suffered an ankle injury in recent weeks.
This gives United a lot less to worry about defensively, with Alexander Isak and Rio Ngumoha the only attackers that Michael Carrick will be briefing his players about.
Advantage Manchester United next weekend, but Liverpool still have enough to get the win.
