Our young Gunners will be aiming for back-to-back victories when we host West Ham United in the Under-18s Premier League South on Saturday, April 25. Kick off is at 11am (UK time).

We head into the fixture full of confidence after a commanding 3–0 win over Reading earlier this week. A goal from Emerson Nwaneri and a brace from Alex Marciniak secured an emphatic victory in Berkshire.

THE OPPOSITION

The Hammers currently sit eighth in the table, just one point ahead of us on 29. However, they arrive in poor form, having lost their last four matches and six of their previous seven. Their last victory came in mid-February, a 1-0 win over Leicester City.

This downturn is something of a surprise for the East London side. Prior to this run, they had won eight of nine matches, including a five-game winning streak, and were firmly in the title race.

In cup competitions, West Ham exited the FA Youth Cup in the fourth round, losing on penalties to Everton after a 2-2 draw. They also reached the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup, where they were beaten by Manchester United.

This fixture marks the first of two quick meetings between the sides, with the reverse clash scheduled for May 5.
