The good news for Nuno Espirito Santo heading into West Ham United’s crunch game with Everton on Saturday.

This coming weekend is a huge one, there’s little doubt about it.

While West Ham clearly need to focus on themselves, so much rides on whatever Tottenham do at Wolves. Anything other than three points at Molineux could prove fatal for them.

How should David Moyes be remembered at West Ham? 💭

European trophy winner? Boring football? Or something else? 🤔

It is clearly unhelpful that Nuno’s side have a much harder game, at least on paper, than Spurs.

Still, there is hope for the Irons. West Ham have a fully fit squad against Everton, so here’s a look at the team that Nuno simply must name.

Drop Pablo Felipe for Adama Traore and move Jarrod Bowen

Monday’s draw against Crystal Palace was a bad night for Pablo Felipe and a reminder that his progress is not always linear following a strong showing against Wolves prior to that.

This is a home game and the Hammers need to go on the front foot here. With that in mind, perhaps moving Jarrod Bowen into a more central role would be wise.

Bowen struggled in West Ham’s last game and often looked isolated out wide. Playing him just off Taty Castellanos instead of Pablo is a way of getting the team’s most influential player into the thick of things more often.

What changes would you make to this team? Feel free to tell me how wrong I’ve got it 😂

Speaking of Castellanos, many might be urging Callum Wilson to start ahead of the Argentine. That is understandable, but there are doubts as to whether Wilson can complete 90 minutes at this level regularly.

With that in mind, the former England striker is surely a better option off the bench at this stage of his career.

Should Bowen move into a central role, a space for Adama Traore would open up on the right. After a slow start here in east London, Traore is starting to show promising signs, after all.

The rest of the team largely picks itself at this point, save for the battle between Kyle Walker-Peters and Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
