Leeds United took an other giant step towards Premier League survival with a professional 3-0 win over bottom club Wolves, who could be relegated this weekend.

Leeds scored twice in three minutes when Noah Okafor netted his fifth goal in as many Premier League games after James Justin’s acrobatic over-head kick set Elland Road alight inside 18 minutes.

United had a few hairy moments with Wolves scrambling the ball towards goal on occasion, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin having to clear one off the line again.

A dull second half was broken up by the fourth official pulling his calf and needing to be replaced by fourth official Lewis Smith.

Play-off final heartbreaker of two years ago Adam Armstrong then sent a concerted warning to a sluggish leeds when he chipped over Darlow but for an offside flag.

Leeds made sure they went nine points clear of the drop zone when Calvert-Lewin fired home his spot kick in added time.
