Brentford have just won once on home soil since New Year’s Day, a 3-0 win over Sunderland on 7 January. Since then, they have drawn four and lost twice at home.
They still remain seventh and level on points with Chelsea, but their home form in 2026 is continuing to thwart their dream of playing European football next season.
They enjoyed the better of the game despite not being at their scintillating best, but were unable to find a way past Bernd Leno who was called in to late action to deny Dango Ouattara from point-blank range.
That was as good as it got in an attacking sense, with Fulham seemingly happy to soak up the pressure from the hosts.

The first-half was a drab affair, with Leno and Caoimhín Kelleher spectators in their own penalty areas.
Igor Thiago and Keane Lewis-Potter had Brentford’s best opportunities but were unable to make the most of them.
Keith Andrews’ side put in a much more improved performance in the second-half, restricting Fulham to very little going forward and more significantly, no shots on target.
Defensively, they were assured against a side that have had the better of them in recent seasons, but they will rue their inability to find that all-important breakthrough.
They almost got it through through Ouattara, but Leno somehow denied the forward.
Brentford have done remarkably well to even be among the mix for Europe, but injuries and poor home form this calendar year are threatening to derail their dreams.
A trip to Old Trafford on Monday week awaits them next, but they will need to conjure up two big performances at home if their dreams are to come.
That will not be easy against West Ham nor Crystal Palace, but Andrews will be hoping his players can pull something out of nothing as they approach a season-defining stage of their season.
