Crystal Palace are interested in appointing former Eintracht Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmoller as a potential successor to Oliver Glasner, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Selhurst Park side are considering their options amid Glasner’s impending exit at the end of the season, with the Austrian tactician set to leave when his contract expires in June.
Toppmoller is believed to be firmly on Palace’s shortlist, while Bournemouth also enquired about the 45-year-old before opting for former RB Leipzig boss Marco Rose.
Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are also said to be interested in Toppmoller, although his preference is understood to be a move to the Premier League this summer.
Crystal Palace Eyeing Dino Toppmoller

According to Tavolieri, ‘things are moving’ for Toppmoller ahead of the summer, with Crystal Palace and Bournemouth making enquiries for the 45-year-old manager.
Toppmoller was relieved of his duties as Frankfurt manager in January, following a two-and-a-half-year spell with the Bundesliga side.
He led Frankfurt to the Champions League last season, finishing third in the Bundesliga, but won just nine of his 26 games in all competitions in 2025-26.
Prior to joining Frankfurt in 2023, Toppmoller worked as an assistant coach at Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig alongside Julian Nagelsmann, and also led F91 Dudelange to three consecutive Luxembourg league titles.
Andoni Iraola Another Candidate for Palace

With Glasner’s end-of-season departure confirmed, Palace appear to be considering several managerial options ahead of the summer, including Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.
The Spanish manager is set to leave the Cherries after the season and is believed to be keen on a move to Selhurst Park, despite interest from his former club Athletic Bilbao.
Palace have included Iraola on their shortlist along with other Premier League-proven managers, including Sean Dyche and Marco Silva, whose contract with Fulham expires at the end of the season.
After joining Bournemouth in 2023, Iraola led the club to Premier League finishes of 12th and 9th in his first two seasons and is now battling for European qualification this term.
