West Ham United‘s Konstantinos Mavropanos is attracting interest ahead of the summer window.

The defender had options to leave West Ham last summer, but a move never took shape.

In August 2025, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy of both AS Roma and Villarreal’s desire to sign him. At that time, the Premier League side were open to letting him leave.

Later that month, we relayed news of Villarreal opening talks but refused to meet the price set by the Hammers.

The Greece international has played 29 matches so far for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side this season.

His Premier League stats are as follows:

Appearances: 25
Starts: 21
Total minutes: 1,995
Interceptions per game: 1.5
Tackles per game: 1.4
Ball recovered per game: 3.2
Clearances per game: 6.2
Duels won per game: 4.1

German interest in West Ham man

Sky Deutschland now cover the latest on Konstantinos Mavropanos’ plans and West Ham United’s stance on him for the summer.

The centre-back had spells in Germany 1. FC Nürnberg and VfB Stuttgart, a club he joined on loan from Arsenal in 2020. They made his stay permanent after two years of loan.

Stuttgart sold him to the Hammers for around €25m in August 2023 and the player is now open to changing clubs.

The 28-year-old is a ‘candidate to leave’ the Premier League side after this season. The latter seems to be in favour of a sale as Sky state West Ham are expecting to collect at least €30m in the next window.

Several clubs are interested in the player, including some from the Bundesliga, who have sent initial signals towards West Ham. The report makes no mention of the details of these clubs.

Contract, value and agent info

Konstantinos Mavropanos will have two years left on his contract at the end of the season.

Transfermarkt value him at €15m and the highest was €20m in May 2024, and agent Konstantinos Farras manages the Greek.

Taking his age and his West Ham contract, it needs to be seen whether any of his suitors are willing to meet their €30m demand.
