The food delivery platform has revealed various food trends across the globe as part of a look back on its billions of orders since its begginings in 2013.
Other findings in the round up showed cheeseburgers are the most ordered dish globally, while four pints of semi skimmed milk came out on top for the most frequented item on shopping lists.
Elsewhere in the UK, Belfast residents were named the pickiest eaters, for making the most customisation requests such as ‘no onions’ or ‘sauce on the side’.
The most loyal Deliveroo customer, based in London, has placed more than 9,000 orders to date.
And in the past year alone, Deliveroo has delivered around 195,000 bouquets of flowers globally.
Miki Kuusi, CEO of Deliveroo, said: “Reaching two billion orders is a huge milestone and I want to recognise everyone around the world who has played a part in getting us here.
“To all of our wonderful riders, our restaurant partners big and small, and of course our customers – thank you.
“Onwards to three billion and beyond.”
