Academy winger Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for March.
It has been a remarkable 2025/26 season for the 17-year-old, who signed his scholarship in July 2025 and has since developed into a regular for our Under-21s under Harry Hudson.
January brought another milestone as he signed his first professional contract with Chelsea and his progress has continued with a senior debut in the FA Cup, during the 7-0 victory over Port Vale earlier this month. To cap an impressive campaign, the Blues were confirmed as Premier League 2 league-phase winners last Friday.
In this season’s Premier League 2, the winger has made 13 appearances, scoring five goals. Four of those goals came in March, a month in which he featured in all four fixtures as the Blues remained unbeaten.
His March performances included a brace in the 4-1 win over Birmingham City, as well as goals in 4-0 victories against Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He also made a strong attacking contribution in the 2-0 win over Manchester United, which moved us above the Red Devils to the top of the table.
Congratulations, Ryan!
