Galatasaray have placed Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes ‘on their agenda’ for the summer transfer window.
Takvim report that the Turkish side want to strengthen in the number ten position this summer and the Manchester United captain is on their list.
Galatasaray plan summer effort
According to the Turkish outlet, Bruno Fernandes has received offers from Europe and Saudi Arabia to leave Manchester United in the coming months.
Galatasaray have made attempts to sign the 31-year-old in the past.
Those attempts were ultimately unsuccessful. But, unperturbed, Galatasaray’s management plans to re-establish contact regarding the player during the upcoming summer transfer window.
There is no mention of the offer that they plan to make. Transfermarkt currently value the Portuguese midfielder at €40m.
It’s important to remember, though, that whilst Fernandes’ deal at Old Trafford expires in 2027, there’s a club option for a further year.
There’s also been recent talk of him signing an extension.
That decision has not been made as yet, though. It will likely depend heavily on Manchester United’s next permanent manager.
If Michael Carrick is given the job long-term, he would undoubtedly want to keep Fernandes.

Bruno Fernandes clearly has a decision to make. He’s stuck by Manchester United through thick and thin in recent years but now, there’s a decision to make about his future.
He and Manchester United would, presumably, be happy to carry on in future. But he’s also a saleable asset in a summer transfer window where United may need sales to boost their own transfer ideas.
Galatasaray are clearly looking to insert themselves into the picture. An offer will be made at some point, likely to Fernandes’ agents first.
This sort of report suggests they’re already putting the feelers out ahead of a possible exit this summer.
Galatasaray have made multiple big name signings in recent years including Victor Osimhen. The club are having to continually look at the top bracket to satisfy their demanding fans.
