Supporters will be able to watch both our Under-21s and Under-18s live in action on SPURSPLAY over the next 48 hours.
Friday night’s Premier League 2 trip to Blackburn Rovers (7pm UK) is first up, followed by a home Under-18 Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday morning (11.30am UK).
Friday’s visit to Lancashire represents the final league stage fixture of the campaign for Wayne Burnett’s side, who are already assured of at least eighth spot and a home tie in the end-of-season play-offs. A win by six goals or more against Blackburn, though, who are second from bottom, would move us above Liverpool into seventh.
As previously reported, the match will now take place at the Wham Stadium, home of Accrington Stanley.
Saturday morning sees Jamie Carr’s Under-18s face a tough challenge against a Brighton side that already owns two victories over us at youth team level this season – one in the league and one in the FA Youth Cup.
Since our last Under-18 Premier League outing, Chelsea have reclaimed top spot with back-to-back wins and are now five points ahead of us, although we now have a game in hand on them. Three points from Saturday’s clash with the Seagulls at Hotspur Way could therefore prove crucial in the title race.
Tune in to SPURSPLAY just ahead of kick-off on Friday night and Saturday morning to enjoy both games live.
Text commentary during both fixtures will also be available via our Match Centre here on the Spurs Official app and tottenhamhotspur.com as usual.
