Arsenal Women have appointed former player Pauline MacDonald as the club’s new Player Pathway Manager.

MacDonald joins the club after Arsenal Women Head of Player Development James Honeyman joined the Bay Collective as global director of recruitment earlier this year.

She will report to AWFC Technical Director Jodie Taylor, and be responsible for player development for players through Arsenal’s academy system into senior football.

The former Scotland international made 72 appearances for the Gunners between 1999 and 2003, lifting two league titles and three league cups, including the domestic treble in 2000/01.

MacDonald boasts over two decades of coaching experience, including seven years with the Scottish FA.
