They are among the latest planning proposals submitted to Dorset Council, for the area – the other including small‑scale building works and alterations to existing properties.
At The Blue Pool, Furzebrook, an application has been made to allow the site to operate as a campsite during the summer of 2026. The proposal, submitted under reference P/HABR/2026/01954, seeks consent under Regulation 76 of the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017 to use land off Furzebrook Road, Stoborough, Wareham (BH20 5AR) as a campsite between 7 July and 31 August 2026.
A separate camping proposal has already secured approval at Trigon House, Trigon. Application P/HABR/2026/00498 related to a Regulation 77 consultation to confirm compliance with permitted development rules for a 35‑pitch pop‑up campsite operating between 2 August and 3 September 2026. Dorset Council has granted the application.
Elsewhere in the area, plans have been lodged for works to agricultural and residential properties. At Woodyhyde Farm near Corfe Castle, a householder application under reference P/CLP/2026/01434 seeks permission to erect a single‑storey rear extension at The High Barn.
At Doddings Farm, Hollow Oak Road, Bere Regis, a full planning application (P/FUL/2026/01314) proposes the removal of a roofing structure, partial demolition of a masonry wall and the retention of a lower level as a retaining wall, along with the construction of buttresses.
A further household application has been submitted at 70 Horse Pond Lane, East Morden. Under reference P/HOU/2026/01826, the proposal includes the conversion of an existing store into a garden room, the replacement of windows, and the erection of a new timber outbuilding.
