With Kounde in oscilating form i would really like for us to sign Porro, i think hes one of the few class players in Spurs and is spanish. Van de Ven would also be really good, i think Cuti Romero is overrated and the rest arent worth it tbh

Their center backs are awful, Pedro Porro would be decent but the rb in flick’s system is always more defensively minded or balanced so I don’t think we’d be in for him.
Vuskovic is the only one I would like to have but he won’t be cheap, 40 mil current market value + him being contracted with them till 2030 probably means he’s not going for less than 75/80 mil.

Vuskovic 100% in the case Tottenham go down, he’s not only big but he compliments cubarsi heavily. The only down side is that he’s 18 so maybe running 2 teenagers at the back might be risky

No. Van de Ven’s pace would be refreshing for the defensive high line, but he’s not consistent enough. Porro is an atrocious defender. Romero, well, we’re a team that has seen Araujo lose ties with his lapses of aggression/brashness. Why add someone who is more aggressive while being a worse player?

I think it might be a decent idea to get some players for cheap and have them compete with current players for the spot, depth will never be a bad thing. plus, can’t be really picky with current Barca economy.

No. If they were any good they wouldn’t be making so many mistakes and they wouldn’t be getting relegated. No team that has 3 defenders good enough for us would be getting relegated. End of story.

Only one worth it is Vuskovic, who’s on loan at Hamburg from Spurs. Quite excellent at the back, he will probably complement Cuba, Eric, and Gerrard Maldini well. He’s tall as heck (we need defenders with height to fight set pieces and be more of a threat in our own set piecesk), and he controls the ball well with passing not unlike a midfielder. Only issue I see so far is his lack of experience due to age, but his instinct and awareness is good, and he fits Flick’s system quite well. There’s a reason he’s one of the highest rated CBs in the bundesliga right now. If we get the chance to sign him, we should do so.
