At his pre-match press conference on Saturday, Carrick said Dorgu remains in rehab and is not yet training with the team. He added that De Ligt is still undergoing treatment and has not returned to the grass.

The Danish winger has been sidelined since a hamstring injury in January’s 3-2 win at Arsenal, though he travelled to Dublin this week for an intensive training camp. He will not be involved against Leeds.

De Ligt is on the comeback trail from a back problem and did not travel to Dublin, continuing his rehabilitation instead. Carrick indicated Dorgu is slightly further along in his recovery.

Diogo Dalot is reportedly expected to be available after illness, with experienced goalkeeper Tom Heaton also recovering. Both stayed behind and did not make the trip to Dublin.
