Torres told Villa’s website: “We know that it’s just one month and a half to finish the season. Seven games in the Premier League, and hopefully (four) in the Europa League.
“So, we are working hard for it, preparing really well. We are together, every player now after the international break, and everybody I think is really focused.
“During 38 games, you have to keep going, keep working, and in the end, in the Premier League, you finish where you deserve.
“It’s a few games to finish it, we have some points advantage, but we know there are really good teams, they can win every game from here until the end, and we need to stay focused.
“We want to fight for it. I think we will need every game from here until the end to decide it, to fight for it, and we will try, of course.
“In the second part of the season, everybody is fighting for something.
“It’s better obviously (to) fight for those positions in Europe than to be in the bottom, and it will be a difficult game, of course.
“They need to win, we need to win, so it will be a fantastic game.”
