Martin Zubimendi also struggled and received a 3/10 rating. The midfielder was labelled infuriating for his cautious approach and failure to stop Bournemouth counters.
Kai Havertz was another who disappointed with a 3/10. He missed a golden opportunity to equalise when he headed over from just four yards out and struggled to influence the game.
On a brighter note Viktor Gyokeres was one of Arsenal’s better performers with a 6/10. The striker scored from the penalty and remained a constant threat.
Gabriel also earned a solid 6/10 for some important defensive contributions and forcing the penalty. Declan Rice matched that rating with some positive moments from midfield.
The result leaves Arsenal with work to do as they look to get their season back on track. Mikel Arteta will demand a much stronger showing in the next fixture.
Fans will be hoping for a quick reaction as the Gunners aim to bounce back strongly. The squad has the talent to turn things around quickly.
