Bournemouth started well and took the lead with the game’s first shot on goal from Junior Kroupi, but Victor Gyokeres cancelled that goal out ten minutes before the interval from the penalty spot.
The visitors to the Emirates Stadium limited their hosts well and struck the killer blow with 75 minutes on the clock as Scott showed excellent composure to finish and see the three points return to Dorset, taking Bournemouth to 12 games unbeaten in the top flight.

Andoni Iraola made one change from the draw with Manchester United 22 days ago, as Kroupi replaced Amine Adli in the starting XI, with Tyler Adams returning to the bench.
Neither side threatened the goal in the opening 15 minutes, with a couple of inaccurate Arsenal crosses that were dealt with by the Cherries the closest either side came to a chance.
But the first effort on goal resulted in Bournemouth taking the lead after 17 minutes.
An excellent, defence-splitting pass from Ryan Christie found Adrien Truffert, who cut the ball back, it hit William Saliba’s boot and deflected to Kroupi at the far post who turned home.

Kai Havertz sent a warning of the Gunners’ set piece prowess shortly after the goal when he headed onto the roof of the net from a corner.
Kroupi fired a snapshot into the head of Gabriel from a Rayan cross, before Rice fired towards goal from range and it was blocked behind by Evanilson.
From the resulting corner, Arsenal were awarded a penalty when Gabriel turned and shot across goal and it hit the outstretched arm of Christie.
Djordje Petrovic guessed the right way but Gyokeres’ effort had too much power on it and the hosts drew themselves level ten minutes before the break.

Evanilson drew a save out of David Raya, before James Hill got close to flicking an Alex Scott free kick on target, but it bounced behind for a goal kick.
The sides entered the interval level at 1-1, and, like the first half, there were few early chances in the opening exchanges of the second period.
Rice had a shot from range deflected behind, before Evanilson charged down a poor Raya pass but he couldn’t bring it under control or direct it towards goal as it came to him quickly.

Alex Jimenez won the ball deep in the Cherries half and charged towards goal before going down in the box, but any shouts for a penalty from the right back were waved away by referee Michael Oliver.
Gyokeres finished when he was played in one-on-one, but he was in acres of space and an offside position when he received the ball.
Christie and Rice both had a go from range for their respective teams; the Scot saw his go over the bar before Petrovic tipped the Englishman’s effort over the top.
The Cherries skipper was replaced with 20 minutes to play by Adams, and David Brooks came on for Rayan.

Scott shot over the bar before the midfielder scored to see the Cherries retake the lead with 15 minutes to play.
It was a very well-worked goal, as Brooks found a pocket of space and fired a ball towards Evanilson, the Brazilian touched the ball onto Scott who charged onto it and he showed composure to finish past Raya.
Gyokeres saw a shot deflected behind when well placed after Petrovic punch, before Kroupi was replaced by Alex Toth.
Petrovic tipped a Gabriel Jesus header over the top as the hosts sought a late equaliser.

Evanilson and Jimenez were taken off for Enes Unal and Adam Smith as the game entered five added minutes.
Marcus Tavernier powered over the bar on the half-volley when in space, before Gyokeres shot wide when well placed at the top of the Cherries box.
Raya came up for a late corner but the Gunners weren’t able to create a final chance and the Cherries took all three points to set a new club record of 12 games unbeaten in the Premier League.
That moved Iraola’s side on 45 points from their 32 games.
