Christian Walton
Made three saves, all very comfortable, and was seamless playing out from the back. 14th clean sheet of the season and this one will be particularly sweet. 8
Darnell Furlong
Kept Norwich winger Ali Ahmed quiet throughout. Looked solid and contributed going forward. 7
Dara O’Shea
A top display. Made one big tackle but otherwise stayed on his feet for most of the game, with his pace and strength keeping Norwich out. Ensured the calm heads were kept during the chaos. 8
Jacob Greaves
A mammoth performance. Cool and calm on the ball, but defensively imperious. Headed everything away, dominant from set pieces. Played a part in both goals by winning flick-ons. 9 (Man of the Match)

Leif Davis
Ran his socks off once again. Probably didn’t contribute going forward as much as he’d like, but defended bravely and managed things well. Impressive after a month out due to suspension. 8
Azor Matusiwa
Clearly managing his dead leg. Wasn’t at his best, but still controlled things off the ball. Impressively and played the full 90 minutes. Some really well-timed slide tackles. 7
Jack Taylor
Really strong off the ball. Big tackles and intense pressure when chasing opponents down. A little sloppy in some passes but otherwise exciting with the ball at his feet. 8
Ben Johnson
Out of position in a different way, playing further forward. A quiet display but added more cover down the left by covering Furlong in defending against Ahmed. He clearly has a role to play in this side. 7
Anis Mehmeti
Some neat twists and turns but lacked attacking spark. Had a good chance in the first half but also got booked and looked a little over-eager at times. 6
Jaden Philogene
Seamless spot-kick, which we didn’t know he had in his locker. Quick feet and dribbles left Norwich defenders in the dust. A joy to have him back. 8
George Hirst scored the second goal to wrap up the derby (Image: Ross Halls)
George Hirst
Got his goal, which he took unbelievably well, but could’ve had a hat-trick. Wasn’t for want of trying, he was denied by some excellent saves. Led the line well. 8
Substitute: Marcelino Nunez (61′)
The main focus of the game, in many ways, despite not starting. Jeered as soon as he stepped out onto the pitch to warm up. Booed as he came on, then booked for shoving Pelle Mattsson. Lost the ball on a handful of occasions and was lucky to avoid a red for three further fouls. Brought off ‘for his own good’. 5
Substitute: Ivan Azon (61′)
Had a good chance to wrap it up, but ended up overthinking it. Didn’t have a big part to play off the bench. 6
Substitute: Jack Clarke (71′)
Some nice dribbles but largely quiet in the final third as Ipswich looked to see the game out. 6
Substitute: Dan Neil (84′)
Replaced Nunez. Had just six touches. N/A
Substitute: Cedric Kipre (85′)
Helped Town look more solid at the back to end the game. N/A
