Hugely original rice pudding snack-related headlines incoming
This Saturday’s Premier League action launches with a lunchtime London leathering, but for who? Assuming it isn’t a draw of course… We all know the script by now, with Arsenal hoping to get one step closer to ending 22 years of hurt, following that glorious HIghbury day in 2004, when the champions-elect completed a historic unbeaten campaign.
However, Bournemouth are still harbouring faint hopes of a charge into Europe, even with their good early-season form now a distant memory. PP Ambassador Joe Cole is expecting a few nerves, but nothing out of the ordinary. So here’s his Arsenal v Bournemouth tips…

Arsenal to win
It was a massive win in Lisbon for Arsenal in midweek, and although the goal came late, we shouldn’t underestimate how good a performance that was. I’ve watched Sporting a few times this year and they’re really good – especially at home.
Saka missed out on Tuesday, Rice returned, and Gabriel played, so there’s a little bit more continuity going into this. I think, personally, Arsenal will win this game.
Both Teams to Score: No
If you want a correct score, I fancy 2-0 Arsenal. For a safer pick, just a win to-nil looks appealing, mainly because they’ve shut out the opposition in each of their last three wins, and four out of their last five going further back.
Gabriel 1+ Shots On Target
The Brazilian gets what this means, and can build on the midweek clean sheet. He has three goals so far this campaign. Bournemouth are conceding an average of 6.4 corners per away game too – which is above average for the league – so he’s a possible threat from set pieces.
Rice to score or assist
Obvious pick. He’s the beating heart of this team, and contributed when it mattered in those big games last month, with an assist against Chelsea in the league followed by that crucial goal against Leverkusen a couple of weeks later.
