Plans have been submitted for extensive tree works across two locations in the city.
At land to the rear of 117 Sandpiper Road, a Silver Birch is proposed for reduction in height by approximately five metres. The application also includes the removal of a leaning stem on the tree’s south western aspect.
Elsewhere, at 76 Holly Hill, another application includes multiple trees. Proposals feature the felling of several Portuguese laurels to improve light levels in the garden. A cherry tree and a beech tree are also set for pruning and reshaping, with up to two metres of growth to be removed across their canopies.
Both applications have been validated by the council. The Sandpiper Road application is awaiting a decision, while the Holly Hill application has been withdrawn.
