Arsenal have been putting together transfer plans after hearing murmurs that Real Madrid are keen to sign Declan Rice.
Rice has been so good for Arsenal this season that his performances have put him in contention to win the Ballon d’Or.

Whilst the Gunners remain one of the top teams in Europe, if not the top team, Madrid are believed to be keen to convince the midfielder to make the switch.
Arsenal would surely make it near impossible for Rice to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, but plans have already been set in motion just in case.
Arsenal sounded out Sandro Tonali after hearing Real Madrid’s interest in Declan Rice
Arsenal are believed to have sounded out the potential signing of Sandro Tonali after hearing Real Madrid’s interest in Declan Rice, according to the Daily Mail.
Madrid look to be searching for a new midfielder in the summer, and Rice could be one of the players which they take a look at.
Back in January, Arsenal made contact with Tonali over a potential move, and the report claims that it was in response to Madrid’s interest in Rice.
The 26-year-old has been one of the best players in Europe this season, and many clubs will be envious of Arsenal for having the midfielder.
Los Blancos would surely dream of partnering Jude Bellingham in midfield with his fellow countryman, but dreaming is likely all they will be able to do with Rice.

Arsenal have been in talks with Rice over a new contract; however, no agreement has yet been reached, and the North London club will surely be keen to accelerate these plans.
Currently, the England star’s deal at Arsenal runs until 2028, so the Gunners still have time, but they will want to avoid the situation becoming a saga.
Rice is expected to accept Arsenal’s contract offer, but potentially interest from Madrid could turn his head and make him wait to see what happens at the end of the season.
The former West Ham United man has shown a real affinity for Arsenal and right now, the Gunners should not worry about losing him.
