April 8 reportedly marked the hottest day of the year so far, with many flocking to Bournemouth’s beaches.
However, during police patrols in the area, it was confirmed that three children were subsequently arrested for public order related offences.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Your local neighbourhood police officers have been out on patrol at a busy Bournemouth beach, where many people have been enjoying the beautiful weather.
“Unfortunately, three children were arrested for public order related offences. They have since been dealt with appropriately.
“Bournemouth Police remain committed to tackling antisocial behaviour head-on, whatever the weather, to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe and pleasant time by the sea.”
