Marc Guehi may have departed Crystal Palace for Manchester City in January, but the England international remains close with those he left behind.
Oliver Glasner spoke about the Manchester City No.15 in his press conference on Wednesday ahead of the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-final against Fiorentina at Selhurst Park, revealing that the defender actually came back to Copers Cope on his day off to catch up with everybody at Crystal Palace.

Oliver Glasner admits Marc Guehi spent his day off back at Crystal Palace in heartwarming revelation
Discussing the 25-year-old in his press conference, Glasner said: “Guehi had a day off at Manchester City on Monday so he visited the training ground.
“It’s a good sign that the players who left Palace are always enjoying coming back to the training ground and visiting the players, visiting the staff. We had a chat and he had lunch with us. It has been a really great week.”

Guehi is not the only former Crystal Palace star to return to SE25 since leaving.
Michael Olise, who Daniel Munoz messaged earlier this week, also came back to Selhurst Park to watch the Eagles record a 4-2 win over Wolves at the end of last season shortly after the historic FA Cup victory, even dropping into the dressing room as photos posted by the club showed.
As Glasner said himself, it is lovely to see that former players feel comfortable enough to pop in and say hello to those at Crystal Palace. It reinforces the notion of Crystal Palace being a family club, and long may it continue.
Hopefully, Guehi – who Real Madrid considered – was able to share some tips he may have potentially learned from Pep Guardiola since his move to the Etihad Stadium, where he has slotted in immediately as one of the first names in the starting XI.
