I think and believe it’s right decision by the club. Fully fit, Maguire is still the CB who is most comfortable with the ball. Not only with the passing, but making run forward with the ball when it right to do it.
And with Casemiro leaving. United still need Maguire air ability…in both end. Only Maguire and Sesko left with air ability threat. So United shall have keep this air ability in their locks. More options and ways to score or avoid goals.
