Fisnik Asllani is a name we’re going to be hearing a lot about this summer, as Premier League sides notice his impressive goal record.

Chelsea are still playing for their Champions League future, and a lot will be decided by this Sunday’s game against Man City.

But the Blues are also planning ahead, with summer transfer targets being lined up already. Their focus will remain on signing the best young players around, preferably at a bargain price.

A new name being mentioned this week is Fisnik Asllani. A report translated by SportWitness says that the Blues are competing with Tottenham to try and sign the Hoffenheim star.

The 23 year old has an impressive 18 G/A in 25 starts this season, and it’s easy to see why he’s sparking interest from bigger clubs. He may not end up in the Premier League, but it looks very unlikely he stays at Hoffenheim.

There is apparently a €25m release clause in the Kosovo international’s contract, meaning that even a buy and a loan somewhere could end up being profitable. If he closes the season strongly, expect a major move coming very soon.
