A public notice published by Dorset Council on March 26 shows proposed changes set out by Jan Britton, executive director for place services.

The proposals include plans to revoke disabled bays at several locations, including one in Humber Road, Ferndown.

Comments on the proposals can be submitted via the website or in writing to the Traffic Regulation Team, Dorset Council, Colliton Park, Dorchester, DT1 1XJ, by April 17.

All representations concerning traffic regulation orders are public documents and may be inspected on demand.

Separately, the council has confirmed changes affecting the A350 Poole Road in Upton.

The order, which came into effect on April 1, will formalise and amend the existing lengths of ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions along part of the A350 Poole Road, Upton.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order has six weeks from the date of the notice to apply to the High Court.
