Eduardo Camavinga is one midfielder who has recently been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Last month, it was reported that Chelsea and Liverpool are both targeting Camavinga, with the Blues thought to be big fans of his profile.

The 23-year-old may consider a move from Real Madrid to Chelsea as a step down, especially with the form that Liam Rosenior’s side are in, but he may have no choice but to join them or another club this summer.

What should Liam Rosenior do with Enzo Fernandez?🤔

It’s getting ridiculous now!

While Camavinga may very well want to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid seem more than open to parting ways with the Frenchman.

According to L’Equipe, Real Madrid bosses are increasingly considering selling Camavinga in the next transfer window.

That is great news for Chelsea and their supporters. Camavinga is the right age for the club but also has enough experience to appease fans.

Chelsea supporters want to see more proven players come in, and while Camavinga is still only 23, he is already experienced at the highest level.

He is a France international with 29 caps, while he has also made 215 appearances for Real Madrid.

Understandably, Camavinga wants to play in the Champions League next season, so Chelsea will need to finish in the top five to have any chance of signing him.

What Chelsea’s midfield could look like with Eduardo Camavinga addition

Camavinga could replace Enzo Fernandez, who is of interest to the France star’s current team Real Madrid.

Fernandez has been playing as a No.10 of late, but before Cole Palmer’s injury problems, he was lining up alongside Moises Caicedo in midfield.

It means Chelsea could have an engine room consisting of Camavinga and Caicedo next season, with Palmer starting slightly ahead of them.

Defensively, Chelsea’s midfield would be much stronger with a double pivot of Camavinga and Caicedo, but it will lose its goal threat with Fernandez not being there.
