PRE-MATCH | CHARLIE O’BRIEN

Ahead of the contest, defender Charlie O’Brien said: “The break has been a good opportunity to focus on ourselves. It’s given us extra time to work on individual bits and bits as a group that we felt we needed to work on. It’s been a good opportunity to get a little bit of rest and refocus ourselves ahead of the last four games of the season.

“Brentford are always a good side. When we played them earlier this year, it probably wasn’t a real test because they had their keeper sent off early on. It’ll be a different game on Monday. They like to keep the ball as we do, so I think it’ll be a good game, and it’s a good opportunity for us to go and hopefully get three points again.

“Unbeaten in our last four. It’s a very good opportunity for us, especially with only four games left to finish unbeaten. It will give us the opportunity to hopefully look forward to the playoffs, which is a big goal of ours.

“It was really positive for me to get another goal from a set piece in the last game. I’ve just returned from an injury in the new year. I struggled with a bad hamstring injury, so thankfully, I’m back now.

“I was buzzing to get back out there, and the last few weeks we’ve put together some good performances, and thankfully, I was rewarded with a goal. I’ve just been enjoying my football recently, and hopefully, I can pick up another goal or two before the end of the season.”
