Gary Rowett has named an unchanged Leicester City line-up for their clash with Sheffield Wednesday, with neither Jordan James nor Aaron Ramsey able to overcome injuries in time.

James and Ramsey looked like being contenders for the 2-2 draw with Preston on Friday but when they didn’t make the squad, Rowett then said that they may also struggle to make the trip to Hillsborough.

That has proven to be the case, with both the City 11 and the bench exactly as it was on Good Friday.

And so Divine Mukasa again starts in attacking midfield, and will provide support to Patson Daka, who is looking to build on his brace against Preston.

Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavidid operate out wide while Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp continue their partnership in midfield.

Ricardo Pereira, who has rarely played two games in quick succession this season, starts again at right-back, with Caleb Okoli and Jamaal Lascelles at centre-back, and Luke Thomas at left-back. Jakub Stolarczyk is again in goal, with Asmir Begovic only on the bench.

City have two centre-backs on the bench in Ben Nelson and Jannik Vestergaard, but it’s likely the latter will be considered as an option up front if City are still chasing a goal late on.

City (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Ricardo, Okoli, Lascelles, Thomas; Winks, Skipp; Fatawu, Mukasa, Mavididi, Daka.

Subs: Begovic, Nelson, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Aribo, De Cordova-Reid, Monga, Richards, Ayew.
