Tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, the Asheville Seagulls are a proud supporters club of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.
In many ways, Asheville and Brighton share a simular spirit. Both are vibrant cities known for creativity, culture, independant thinking and a deep sense of community. Though seperated by an ocean – mountains on one side and the sea on the other – the two places share a character that makes the connection feel natural.
Several years ago, while exploring the excitement of the Premier League, our founder was searching for a club to follow. His son-in-law introduced him to the Seagulls, and it didn’t take long to become hooked. What stood out immediately wasn’t just the football, but the club itself – it’s identity, it’s supporters and it’s guiding ethos: treat people well, exceed expectations and always aim higher. Those values resonated deeply and inspired the formation of the Asheville Seagulls supporters group.
Today, our supporters can be found throughout Asheville and across Western North Carolina gathering in pubs, breweries and living rooms to cheer on Brighton together. Whether it’s early morning kickoff or a big match day, the Asheville Seagulls are proud to bring a bit of the Amex atmosphere to the mountains.
