Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was allegedly the victim of a brutal attack outside a bar in Bournemouth.
Officers were called to reports of an assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road at around 3am this morning and found a man in his 40s from Christchurch, who died at the scene.
Two men from Bournemouth, aged 37 and 46, and a 34-year-old man from Poole, have since been arrested.
Officers believe a number of people were in the area at the time and may have witnessed the alleged attack. They are being asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260048268, as an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
The force said there will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days, with members of the public who have any information or concerns asked to speak with officers. Drivers are also being urged to share any dashcam footage which may have captured the incident.
