SparkCards, created by Southampton entrepreneur Charlie Willett, is aimed at children aged five and above and is already gaining traction in homes and classrooms across the UK.
Mr Willett said: “I wanted to create something that didn’t feel like traditional learning.
“Something that children would pick up because they enjoy it, but that still has real educational value behind it.”

SparkCards combines visual prompts and simple gameplay to develop memory, confidence, and recall in a screen-free format.
The cards are designed for use at home, with friends, or in classroom environments.
Early feedback from schools and parents has been positive, with many praising the game’s ability to engage children without the use of digital devices.
Mr Willett said: “One of the biggest challenges for parents right now is finding ways to keep children entertained without constantly turning to screens.
“Seeing kids sit down and genuinely enjoy playing something like this has been one of the most rewarding parts of building it.”

Based in Southampton, Mr Willett has overseen every aspect of the project, from concept and design to production and promotion.
He said: “I’ve put everything into it. It started as an idea and has grown into something that’s now being used by real families and even in schools, which is amazing to see.”
With the brand’s reach expanding, Mr Willett is now looking to expand into shops, family attractions, and retail spaces, with a particular focus on places that cater to families and children.

He said: “My goal is for SparkCards to become something recognised across schools all over the UK.
“I’d love to see it being used in classrooms and homes everywhere.”
The game is also gaining visibility on social media, where parents and creators have shared videos of children playing and enjoying SparkCards.
SparkCards is currently available online, with plans to expand further across the UK in the coming months including multiple themes.
