  1. A "mystery injury" that Bayern and juventus medical teams could both spot years ago?
He's a great player in his day but ship him out. Like we should have done with Shaw years ago

  2. Surprised it took until the last 5 mins of the video to speak about other injury prone players like Luke shaw who. There’s him, Martinez and Mount in particular who are on more borrowed time than MDL. The unknown about de ligt is the most concerning things but they’ll be trying things and going through a process in the hope of curing his issues. I wouldn’t be giving up on him after missing half a season when the others mentioned above haven’t played much more than him bar shaw this season. Even then we know he’s going to struggle with 2 games a week next season

  3. I had a bad fall 6 and a bit years ago. I fractured my hand and dislocated a finger, but I didn't realise at the time that the real injury was to my neck and shoulder. That and awful nerve pain on my other arm.

Long story short, it took years for the back injury to sort itself out, after physio etc. Still not 'right', and I'm not sure if it ever will be, but I never had a proper diagnosis because the pain was so subjective to me, but the root causes were less easy to identify.

So any player suffering from any kind of back injury has my sympathy. It affects absolutely everything you do, even just how you sit at a desk or lie on your bed. To this day I can't sleep on my left side without getting neck ache or pins and needles

  4. I believe its not injury. Its family priorities unfortunately. We must be more patient as some things are bigger than football.❤

  5. I think it's just precaution, we don't need to rush him back when we have Yoro, Martinez, Heaven, Maguire and Shaw that can all play there while playing one game a week. It would be stupid to.

  6. My plan is to acquire Schlotterbeck, then loan Heaven to Dortmund with an option to buy. They could trigger the buy option for 8-10 mil, with a buyback clause of 16-18 mil, similar to Real Madrid's approach. This would give Heaven 3 years of development at a top club known for nurturing young talent. After 3-4 years, we should start transitioning away from Martinez. Ideally, if everything goes well, we could have the LCB position covered for 10-15 years.

  7. The data was there that if De Light started every game possible he would miss alot or games every two seasons since he left at Ajax he's only played around 48% of games due to injury but Ste told us we was all wrong when we highlighted this in the comments at the time 😂

  8. Yet Steve said a weak ago, Shaw was an option as LB for united the next 3 to 4 years.
Despite Shaw being a finished player 3 to 4 years ago🤦‍♂️

  9. 100% feel sorry for De Ligt. Club need to support him even if he never plays again.
But, United need to plan for the eventual outcome and get immediate replacements in for next season.

  10. If we want to be serious club we need to sell atleast one of deligt or Martinez. I think we should be selling both and signing Ven hecke perfect Martinez replacement great on the ball and good areial and most importantly he is prem proven and good at playing high line

  11. Problem is: Nobody from the press is trying to get information! At least we knew the basis of the injury we’d understand.

I think it’s a slipped disc, which can affect sciatic nerves and leg strength/motion.

  12. My back is worse when I go light in gym, loads better when heavy, strange, but for de ligt, can't be patient or sympathetic, same with Martinez. Gotta move on

  13. Both Martinez and De Ligt will always be a problem due to their style of play. Both go crashing into tackles and risk injury every game. Even if they get over these injuries, it's a matter of time before it happens again. Same thing that cursed players like Rojo, Bailley, Phil Jones and Wes Brown. The thing we love about them is the thing that injures them.

  14. The Lewis skelly links are interesting. He can play LB or CM. Shaw goes into CB Lewis skelly then goes in at LB. We then also have an extra rotation in CM

  15. The speculation is fine, but people in comments saying what “we need to do” is just uneducated, ill informed nonsense. He’s got access to the best medical resources in the world; if he’s finished, it is what it is. If he’s not, let’s hope he gets through it and comes back stronger. Nobody knows “what we need to do”, except the coaching and medical staff

  16. I had a disc replaced (C6/C7) a few years ago; the disc slipped out and was touching my spinal chord. Before surgery, i was basically crippled on/off. After wards, i got back to my best. Back injuries and back issues are highly specific and personalized

  17. It's a back issue which are notoriously difficult to get to the bottom of, but with the amount of money and expertise being thrown at this they will more than likely get to the bottom of it eventually.
