The Gunners were humiliated by the Championship team, with Iraola watching on as he prepares his team to face them next weekend.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping that his team can put the disappointment of losing to Southampton behind them with big results against Sporting CP and Bournemouth.

But Bournemouth will be far from an easy game for the Gunners, and preparations on the south coast are well underway to upset the North London club further.

With just seven games left and Manchester City away still to play, every Premier League match is now massive for Arsenal.

Meanwhile, the pressure on Arteta to deliver either the Premier League or the Champions League continues to mount after his team exited both domestic cups.

After going away to Portugal in the Champions League midweek to face Sporting CP, they then welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium.

The Cherries arrive in N5 on a remarkable run of 11 games unbeaten, with their last defeat in the league being against Arsenal back in January.

Arteta’s team just about edged past the south coast club during the previous meeting, winning 3-2 at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth will now be seeking revenge in the reverse fixture and are taking no chances with Iraola going to watch the Gunners.

The Spanish head coach was certainly shown the blueprint of how to beat Arsenal, and he will be looking to copy that on April 11.

Arsenal once again looked devoid of ideas in attack, with Max Dowman their best player, and Bournemouth will also be hoping to stifle them next weekend.
