Need a day after slot sacking real quick
Haven’t slept yet, the emotions are still here.
Everyone’s having their turn at being shit which is what I imagined would happen when Gakpo, Grav, Mac and Salah were allowed to take the first half of the season off.
I think it’s obvious to everyone Slots time is up. He should have been gone after Wolves and Spurs and it’s just delaying the inevitable at this point. Tactically we have looked terrible for a year now and Slot has failed time and time again to find a solution. The “transition” from Klopp tactics to Slots with our new players has basically been a massive step backwards. At this point it feels like the entire team has given up. Whether it’s purely mental or physical, I don’t think I’ve seen a professional team look this unfit.
It’s one thing for players to get injured from being overworked, but our players look gassed while also running far less than their opponents. It’s just an absolute disaster from both a tactical and training perspective and ultimately this is Slots responsibility. I don’t even like rating players in these situations because this isn’t about individuals. This is about an entire team who clearly just have no faith in the manager.
Luck you, as an American it’s still same day. And I got to watch my Red Sox lose this afternoon here. Fuck FSG.

I turned the TV off after the third goal.. was just dreadful to watch, no energy and no passion. Seems almost like the players are just waiting for Slot to be sacked at this point

That clip from training told me everything I need to know – it’s not just the matchday setup its the whole operation. Passiveness is the foundation of it all, and it all comes from the decisions made by coaching staff. FSG are probably happy enough with it cus Arne’s just going to nod and agree to anything they say as opposed to Jurgen who actually understood how to formulate and implement his ideas. The rot in this squad has been spreading since this time last year and it’s only going to get worse the longer this goes on. Get rid, move on.

Slept through my alarms as it was a 6:45 am kickoff for me and I had worked the night before. Blessing in disguise. Very telling that any matches I’ve missed due to work schedule/sleep schedule issues this season have felt like a relief. Other than the Galatasaray game at home, I think the last match I felt truly good about was Real or Atletico at home, and I’m not sure I’ve really felt good about any prem games since the initial spurt of last minute winners where I like most of us thought we were just sputtering into gear and would settle into rhythm shortly thereafter
