Arsenal are among the teams keen on highly-rated youngster Nicolo Tresoldi and Fabrizio Romano has given an update on the situation.
Arsenal are looking at Tresoldi as a potential signing as they continue to look towards both the future and the here and now.
Tresoldi is regarded as one of the top young talents in Europe but according to Fabrizio Romano, things are not as advanced as some would suggest.

Clearly, Tresoldi is a player of interest to the top clubs in Europe and Arsenal are always going to be in that mix.
However, according to Romano, there are some fake rumours out there as well.
“But what I can tell you today is that according to my information between Arsenal and Tresoldi, there is nothing really advanced and nothing really concrete,” Romano revealed.
“We had many fake links about Arsenal in the recent months. Pio Esposito who is a talent but at the moment Arsenal are not working to sign him. They can scout him. They can follow him of course but they are not working to sign him. Same for Tresoldi.
“So at the moment Arsenal are not in active talks for Esposito or Tresoldi. Should anything change I will be here to keep you updated.”
Nicolo Tresoldi has all the hallmarks of a Premier League player
At just 21, Tresoldi is very much making his way in the game and Arsenal have already been given a glimpse of him in the Champions League this season.
The young striker has already netted 17 times this season, including goals against both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in Europe.

Currently with Club Brugge, clearly the next step for Tresoldi is to move to a bigger European club and prove himself elsewhere.
Of course, interest will be there from elsewhere. But Tresoldi’s ability to play not only as a number nine but also drop deep into the number ten role gives him Premier League qualities.
This is certainly one to watch and come the summer, it would be no surprise to see Arsenal involved.
