What is it with every guardian journo being a Sunderland fan and being allowed to write columns on nufc? Louise Taylor, Jonathan Wilson, and Barry Glendenning are all Sunderland fans yet constantly masquerade as "objective " journalists in their negative coverage of nufc. It's infuriating.

Every piece writtey them should have an asterisk stating that this was written by a Sad Mackem Bastard.

To be fair to him, Wilson is actually a good football writer. Weys Keys Louise is utter dreck and Glendenning is an absolute clown though.

He’s not far off being in the majority from people who are outside looking in

Of course a Mackem would want Eddie thrown out. His follow up article will probably be “if he really wants to go to the World Cup, then it’s time for Bruno to move on”.

You just need to remember the Viz t-shirt about the Guardian: “wrong about everything, all the time”

Odd taking such a defensive line against this OP when half this sub also want him out.

  5. This is a classic case of an editor looking for a spicy headline. If you actually read the article, he puts very little blame on Howe and comes to this conclusion:

“In terms of on-field considerations, there is little reason to replace him and without the strain of European football form is likely to improve anyway. But if Newcastle are serious about changing the culture at the club, at becoming a serious modern organisation, it may be that Howe’s departure is a necessary part of their restructuring.”

I also just can’t stand for Jonathan Wilson slander. He’s an excellent writer and historian of the game, and I’ve heard him speak about Newcastle on podcasts many times and never felt like he’s been wildly unfair on biased.
