The States of Jersey Police is appealing for information after a teenage girl was involved in a road traffic collision on Wednesday 1 April.
Police say a 14-year-old girl was visiting the island from France before being involved in a collision between 5:10pm and 5:15pm on La Route des Genets, just outside the Les Ruisseaux Estate.
The incident involved a grey Honda CRV, driven by a 70-year-old man, and left the girl with serious head injuries.
Police say no other people or vehicles were involved, and while no arrests have been made, the incident is still under investigation.

Paramedics treated the girl at the scene before being transported to Jersey Hospital.
While her condition was described as serious but stable, the girl was urgently flown to Southampton for ongoing treatment due to the seriousness of the head injury.
Police told ITV News on Thursday afternoon (2 April) that the teenager remains in a critical condition and will remain in Southampton until next week.
La Route des Genets was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene. Main roads reopened after 9pm.
Jersey’s police force is now asking for anyone who may have seen the car, the collision, or has dashcam footage to come forward.
