The sunshine isle boasts more than 260 beaches, ranging from secluded rocky coves to busier, family-friendly areas.

Popular spots include Cala Formentor, Port de Pollença, and Cala Millor, which is famous for its lively nightlife.

The island also boasts the ever-popular resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova, which are often sought out by younger holidaymakers.

Attractions away from the beaches include the famous Dragon Caves, one of Majorca’s top tourist sights.

The guided tour of stalactites and stalagmites ends with a floating violin concert on Lake Martel, Europe’s largest underground lake. The vintage train from Palma via Bunyola to Soller is also a fun day out.
