Former West Ham United winger Nikola Vlašić is set to rejoin the Hammers in January as part of a strategic overhaul by Nuno Espírito Santo.

The 28-year-old Croatian was originally signed by David Moyes for £28m but was sold at a massive loss by the club. Unfortunately, things have not quite worked out as planned in Torino for a player who struggled to hold down a position at West Ham.

However, Nuno is understood to have found the key to unlocking his potential following some eagle-eyed data analysis by Max Hahn. Speaking exclusively to Claret & Hugh, an undercover source revealed that Vlašić has a buyback clause in his contract allowing him to be re-signed by West Ham for just £14.99 if the bid is lodged before midday on April 1st 2026.

Bargain deal or April madness?

The source reported: “Nuno really likes the player and Max Hahn has noticed how many aerial duels he has won in Italy. At just under £15, they think it’s a low-risk signing and he will provide cover as a central defender.”
