The junior-senior open crew, comprising Boris Hare, Matt Swiss, Jake Garner, and Jude Williams, coxed by Mariana Hare, triumphed on the River Itchen course with the fastest time of the day at 16 minutes.
The women’s novice crew of Grace Garner, Julia Coulson, Camy Korkis, Helen Hopper, and coxed by Finn Gorbutt, secured second place in their section, trailing Southampton by just 29 seconds with a time of 20mins 42secs.
The junior open crew of Ed Hopper, Chris Clarke, Huseyin Yolclu, Riv Szawiel, and coxed by Fiona Brookes, had a solid performance, finishing tenth in their section.
The club now eagerly anticipates their home regatta on the River Medina, opening the Hants amd Dorset season on May 2 and 3.
